![]() The one predictable thing about this is that it does seem to depend on how far into a game you've played. ![]() It sits there like this for maybe thirty seconds, then the computer reboots. Usually the whole screen turns the same color.tan has been a favorite for a while. ![]() ![]() They do always seem to happen in my turn, but I can't predict the action that will kill the game. And they don't seem to happen on the same action. They don't always happen at the same spot. You do can try to relive the wonderful days of DOS by trying to play a game that can't stand having any other apps running. Even though the latter pretty much violates the whole concept of a windows-like os. I've tried compatablity modes, and I've tried running it with no other apps running. Yes, I've tried all the BS help advice things. Win XP has been very stable for me, so this is quite a feat for Civ 3 to be able to take out the entire os.
